MA ELS, Research Manager, Medical Writer
Tinker earned her undergraduate and Master's degrees from Ball State University. Tinker oversees the research staff, directs projects, and writes study reports for peer-reviewed journals. Tinker was the co-award winner of the Hughston award in 2010, given by the American Orthopaedic Society for Sports Medicine for the most outstanding paper written for the American Journal of Sports Medicine in 2009. She is a fellow of the American Medical Writers Association and received the President's award for service in 2004. Tinker has been working with Dr. Shelbourne since 1984.
Heather studied medical terminology at Ivy Tech Community College. She is responsible for contacting research patients, collecting data, data entry, and other related duties. Heather has been with the Shelbourne Knee Center since 2004 and an employee of Dr. Shelbourne since 2003.
Diane received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology then went on to earn a Masters in Business Administration. Diane has been with the Shelbourne Knee Center since 2012.
Kanitha earned a Master of Information System and Master of Science from Purdue University. Her responsibilities include managing software and technology resources and overseeing all information systems and databases. In addition, she works with the research department as database administrator and statistician. She has been with the Shelbourne Knee Center since 2004.
Adam received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Ball State. After working five years as a psychosocial specialist/case manager, he left the Midwest to begin a career in research. Working in Southern California as a clinical research coordinator studying neuroscience, HIV, and CAR T-cell Immunotherapy, he obtained his CCRP certification. In 2016 he returned to Indiana to manage the Shelbourne Knee Center research department.
